My name is Nene Mokonchu, and I am a political science Pre-Law major. As a first-generation Cameroonian-American, I am enthralled with this incredible opportunity to intern with the Law Offices of Giselle M. Rodriguez, a booming immigration law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. Immigration law deeply compels me, not only because I have experienced it firsthand, but as a socially and politically awakened student, I eagerly envision a future of implementing empathetic policies through legal frameworks. I look forward to working alongside fellow interns, paralegals, and practicing attorneys who bring unique perspectives to our invaluable work. Alongside such capable peers, I look forward to fighting for and humanizing our diverse clientele, treating their cases and lives with the sacredness so often denied to them.
