Thomas J. Anton/Frederick Lippitt Conference on Urban Affairs was funded by a gift from Frederick Lippitt in honor of the Taubman Center's founding director, Thomas J. Anton. This series focuses on issues affecting cities, and commemorates nearly two decades of cooperative work by Lippitt and Anton on citywide issues in Providence. Past panels have focused on urban gentrification, the municipal pension funding crisis, the living wage, and emergency preparedness.
